Looking for a top-tier music production degree in Indiana? Ball State University’s Bachelor of Science in Music Media Production (MMP) is designed for aspiring music producers, audio engineers, and media creators.

The program features hands-on courses in recording, mixing, mastering, live sound, music business, and songwriting—giving you a comprehensive foundation for a career in today’s music industry. You’ll tailor your studies by choosing from one of three specializations: Audio Engineering Technology, Commercial Music Design, or Game and Media Sound Design.

As an MMP student, you’ll have access to over 10,000 square feet of industry-leading studio space—including one of the finest Dolby Atmos production suites in the Midwest. Are you interested in our program? We require an audition on voice or a traditional instrument for the Bachelor of Arts in Music Applied Concentration in addition to the University-wide application. The other concentrations in BA/BS do not have this requirement.
